Air Conditioning Engineer

Duties

• Install, service, and repair a wide range of air conditioning units and systems in accordance with manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
• Conduct routine maintenance to ensure systems operate efficiently and reliably.
• Troubleshoot issues using schematics and technical manuals, diagnosing faults accurately.
• Interpret technical drawings and schematics to facilitate installation and repair processes.
• Perform equipment repairs, replacements, and upgrades to optimise system performance.
• Collaborate with construction teams during new installations or refurbishments involving air conditioning systems.
• Maintain detailed records of work performed, parts used, and system conditions for compliance and future reference.

Requirements

• Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in air conditioning systems and equipment repair.
• Strong understanding of schematics, technical manuals, and system diagrams.
• Knowledge of maintenance procedures for HVAC equipment within residential, commercial or industrial settings.
• Construction experience related to HVAC installation projects is highly desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose faults efficiently.
• Relevant qualifications in mechanical engineering or HVAC technology.
• Ability to work independently or collaboratively in fast-paced environments whilst adhering to health and safety regulations.
