Air Conditioning Business Development Manager

An established HVAC contractor is looking to appoint a Business Development & Key Accounts Manager to strengthen its presence across Dublin. This is not a traditional transactional sales role; the focus is on developing long-term relationships, expanding existing accounts and creating new opportunities across the FM, property and commercial building services market. You'll build relationships with Facilities Managers, Property Managers, FM providers and commercial end users, helping get the business through the door and identifying opportunities before working with an established internal sales and technical team to progress them. The customer base spans commercial offices, data centres, healthcare, hotels, leisure, retail and medical device/manufacturing environments. Requirements Strong B2B business development, account management or client relationship experience Background within HVAC, hard FM, building services, property services or another technical service environment advantageous Existing relationships across the Dublin FM, property or commercial facilities market highly desirable Proven ability to develop long-term customer relationships and generate opportunities through networking and account development Comfortable engaging with Facilities Managers, Property Managers, FM providers and senior commercial decision-makers Personable, credible and consultative approach rather than high-volume transactional selling Able to identify opportunities across HVAC maintenance, PPM, replacement, refurbishment and upgrade works Strong commercial awareness and ability to recognise where wider opportunities exist within existing accounts HVAC technical qualifications are not essential Technical sales experience is useful, but the ability to build relationships and create opportunities is the priority Package €60,000-€70,000 basic salary DOE Performance-related bonus linked to KPIs and business opportunities generated Company vehicle Fuel card & Toll tag Company pension Phone and laptop Interested in hearing more?
