AI Lead

Traditional Daily Rate: Up to £700 per day inside IR35 (dependenton experience)

We're looking for an experienced Responsible AI Lead /Responsible AI SME to join a leading organisation and play a key role inshaping how AI is governed, assessed and deployed responsibly across thebusiness.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong AIgovernance, AI ethics, risk and regulatory experience who can operateconfidently with senior stakeholders and translate principles and regulationsinto practical controls.

The Role

You'll be accountable for implementing and advising on ResponsibleAI principles defined in AIMS across the organisation's AI portfolio.

Key responsibilities include:

Responsible AI Framework & Standards

• Maintain Responsible AIprinciples, practices and guidance.
• Work with Legal toestablish requirements around fairness, transparency, explainability,accountability and human oversight .
• Develop practicalcontrols and assessment criteria for AI use cases.
• Lead Responsible AIreviews for high-risk and business-critical AI solutions.
• Assess bias,fairness, explainability, safety and unintended consequences .
• Recommend mitigationactions to support safe deployment.

Governance & Regulatory

• Embed Responsible AIcontrols into the AI lifecycle and governance framework.
• Partner with GovernanceOperations to operationalise requirements across platforms and tooling.
• Monitor emerging AIstandards, regulations and industry best practice .
• Support Responsible AIaudits and assurance activities.

Education & Adoption

• Act as a Responsible AIthought leader and trusted adviser.
• Develop playbooks,guidance, training and awareness programmes.
• Promote Responsible AIas an enabler of innovation.
• 8-12+ years' experience across AI/ML, DataScience, AI Governance, Model Risk or Technology Risk.
• Strong experienceevaluating AI risks, fairness, transparency and explainability .
• Experience engaging withsenior stakeholders and influencing enterprise decision-making.
• Experience within regulatedor complex enterprise environments preferred.
