AI Engineer

AI Engineer - January Start - 12 Month Contract - Hybrid Bucharest

We are looking for an experienced AI Engineer to join a long-term programme starting 5th January. This is a 12-month contract with possible extensions, working hybrid (2x/week in Bucharest).

In this role, you will design, develop, and deploy AI/ML solutions at scale - building production-ready models, AI agent workflows, and enterprise AI systems that support digital transformation.

Responsibilities:

• Build and deploy ML models using Python & PyTorch

• Develop AI agent workflows (LangChain, LiveKit, OpenAIAgentsSDK)

• Design safe & structured agent behaviour using MCP + Guardrails

• Use AWS Bedrock as the primary LLM service (including RAG setups)

• Automate multi-step AI workflows using tools like n8n

• Train and deploy models with AWS SageMaker

• Work with Spark on AWS EMR for large-scale data processing

• Test and iterate LLM flows using OpenWebUI or similar tools

Requirements:

• 4+ years' experience as an ML/AI Engineer

• Strong Python programming skills

• Experience with NLP & LLMs

• AWS experience (SageMaker, Bedrock, EMR) or equivalent cloud stack

• Strong understanding of production AI pipelines

• Good communication skills & good level of English

• Ability to work hybrid in Bucharest (2x/week on-site)
