AI Data Scientist - Python Specialist (Contract)Location:Cambridge (Hybrid - 1 day/week onsite)

A leading Cambridge-based biotech company is urgently seeking anAI Data Scientistwith strong Python skills to support the development of machine learning models for biomedical data analysis. You'll be joining a small, agile team working on projects ranging fromgenomic data interpretationtoclinical trial optimization.
Key Responsibilities:

• Build and deploy ML models usingPython,scikit-learn, andPyTorch
• Work withstructured and unstructured biomedical datasets(e.g. genomic sequences, patient records, imaging)
• Collaborate with bioinformaticians and clinical researchers to translate data into actionable insights
• Contribute to the development of internal tools fordata preprocessing,feature engineering, andmodel evaluation

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in data science or ML, ideally inbiotech or healthcare
• Strong Python programming skills and experience with ML libraries
• Familiarity withJupyter,Pandas,NumPy, andMLFlow
• Experience working withclinical or biological datasetsis a big plus
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, research-driven environment

Bonus Skills:

• Knowledge ofgenomics,bioinformatics, orclinical trials
• Experience withDocker,Kubernetes, or cloud ML pipelines (AWS/GCP)
