Rehabilitation Unit, Perth Royal Infirmary Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist - Band 6

FIXED TERM/SECONDMENT UP TO 1 YEAR / PART TIME

We are looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist who is passionate about delivering timely, effective, person centred therapy for people with MSK hand conditions to join our dynamic, friendly, specialist outpatient team.

Candidates will have previous experience of working within a hand therapy setting, including trauma, elective and conservative treatment, and a working knowledge of long term condition management. They will have effective communication and decision making skills with a positive approach to multidisciplinary working.

Perth and Kinross Occupational Therapy Service provides excellent formal and informal supervision, actively supports individual development through performance development review and learning plans, provides a framework for encouraging CPD and promotes innovative practice.

Applicants must be registered with HCPC.

Perth is a vibrant cultural city, within easy reach of the central belt and is the 'Gateway to the Highlands', surrounded by stunning rural countryside.

Hours of work: 18.5 hours. Fixed Term/Secondment for up to 1 Year.
