Job DescriptionThe agricultural sector of the Etablissements de la plaine de l'Orbe (EPO) is the third largest agricultural area in Switzerland. It covers 360 hectares, operated by detained individuals, under the supervision of responsible managers. Activities are focused on both plant and animal production, with a particular emphasis on short supply chains for supplying the local economy. To strengthen the current team, we are looking for an agricultural worker who wishes to engage in an environment that is both demanding and meaningful. You act at all times in accordance with our values: Loyalty, Solidarity, Credibility.Responsibilities- Collaborate on work related to plant production: all mechanical tasks related to agriculture on more than three hundred and fifty hectares (soil work, seeding, harvesting, tree cultivation, and viticulture).- Collaborate on work related to animal production: ensure the care of animals from different productions on the property (cattle sector, poultry, pig farm), participate in the preparation of feed for animals and collaborate in the care and management of poultry.- Carry out the delivery of products from the estate to business partners, ensuring good contacts with them to promote the image of the EPO.- Assist in the maintenance of agricultural machinery and perform maintenance and organization work around buildings.For more details, please refer to the specifications by clicking here or contact Mr. Joly, agricultural chief, for a fixed duration of 6 months.
