Position summary

As an Agility Lead for Mainframe and Midrange in Infrastructure Platforms, you will work with technology leaders, team members, and support teams to enhance the productivity and efficiency of the Mainframe and Midrange Product. Your role involves evaluating portfolio health, identifying improvement opportunities, and helping teams mature their product vision, planning, and delivery. You will promote continuous improvement, systems thinking, and foster an environment of autonomy, mastery, and purpose alongside other scrum masters and agility coaches.

Job responsibilities
  • Manage agile transformation across 34 infrastructure support teams, promoting open communication and continuous improvement.
  • Drive product planning through quarterly inputs and backlogs, ensuring high-priority work is refined and effectively prioritized.
  • Plan deliverables and monitor performance of the full product.
  • Organize and lead product-wide events such as Quarterly Planning, Scrum of Scrums, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and product assessments.
  • Develop training and learning materials on agile principles to connect end-to-end product goals.
  • Use advanced communication and facilitation skills to influence stakeholders and scale strategies.
  • Enable product delivery with tools and standards, prepare demo materials, measure agility outcomes, and coach technical teams.
  • Manage product improvement backlog, promote efficiency, and increase productivity and collaboration.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Experience or expertise in coaching teams on agile methodologies and project management.
  • Agile coaching experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of product development lifecycle stages, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Expertise in agile delivery approaches such as Scrum, Kanban, XP, and scaling frameworks, with the ability to guide teams through complex projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Formal training or certifications in Agile coaching (e.g., Scrum Master, Kanban).
  • Skills in agile delivery, business acumen, change management, coaching, stakeholder management, strategic thinking, adaptability, and decision-making.
