Aftercare Plumber Apprentice Trainer

Overview

JCPS Mechanical Ltd is one of Ireland's leading mechanical services and contractors. The position is for an aftercare plumber with apprentice training coordination responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide aftercare plumbing support to the Projects team following completion of large projects.
• Carry out snagging works identified on completed projects.
• Complete QA/QC forms for all aftercare visits.
• Carry out remedial works where necessary to resolve snags and defects.
• Compile lesson learnt documentation to senior management.
• Organise and deliver all apprentice training.
• Ensure all apprentices have the correct skills required for the stage of apprenticeship they are in.
• Track expiry dates of staff for the training being delivered.
• Perform quality analysis onsite.
• Sign off on all on the job training for apprentices.
• Assist on site when required.

Qualifications

• Experience training apprentices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in the quality and presentation of work.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
