Afterschool Nanny / Family Assistant - Notting Hill

A lovely family in Notting Hill is looking for an experienced and reliable Nanny / Family Assistant to support their family with the care and organization of their 9-year-old twins.

The role will focus on providing a warm and supportive after-school routine, helping with homework, taking the children to activities, preparing meals, and helping the family stay organized.

Responsibilities include:

• Caring for 9-year-old twins after school
• Supporting homework and encouraging independence
• Taking children to and from activities (driver preferred)
• Preparing healthy meals and snacks
• Managing children's laundry and keeping their belongings organized
• Packing for holidays, camps, and school trips
• Organizing activities, playdates, and children's schedules
• Helping plan activities during school holidays
• Occasional proxy parenting when parents travel (around 2-3 times per year, up to four days)
• Helping with light household tasks, kitchen support, and general tidying
• Being comfortable around the family dog

The family has a daily housekeeper, so there is no heavy cleaning required. They are looking for someone who is happy to be part of the household and provide practical support where needed.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, approximately 2:30pm - 8:00pm during term time and school holidays
• Additional 5 hours babysitting per week

Requirements:

• Previous nanny experience, ideally with older children
• Confident supporting homework and daily routines
• Happy to assist with child-related organization and family tasks
• Pet-friendly
• Flexible to support occasional proxy parenting
• Spanish or another language would be a bonus

Rate will be £23 per hour

The family is offering a competitive salary in line with current market rates for an experienced nanny in the Notting Hill area.
