Hours of work: 10 per week.
Working pattern: Part-time, term-time only (working for 39 weeks per year plus 6.05 weeks annual leave).
As the position is part-time/term-time only, the above salary will be pro rata.

The Skylark Federation is seeking to appoint an After School Club Leader at Hamsey Community Primary School. This is a wonderful opportunity to join a welcoming and supportive school community where children thrive and staff are valued.
As a growing and popular federation of schools, we are proud of the positive environment we have created for both pupils and staff, and we would be delighted to welcome a new colleague to our team. Full training will be provided.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and caringAfter School Club Leaderto run our club from the end of the school day until 5.30pm. This position is available Monday to Thursday.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing simple, healthy refreshments.
- Leading fun and creative activities such as arts and crafts.
- Supervising games and outdoor play.
- Creating a safe, happy, and engaging environment for all children.
If you are already a parent at the school, your child(ren) will be able to attend the club free of charge.
This post is covered by the Childcare Disqualification Regulations 2018.
The school will need to ensure that they are not knowingly employing a person who is disqualified under the 2018 Regulations in connection with relevant childcare provision. Accordingly, the successful candidate will be required to demonstrate to the school, by completing a self-declaration form as part of the pre-employment checks process, that they have not been disqualified under the 2018 Regulations.
If the preferred candidate is found to be disqualified under the 2018 Regulations, the offer of employment will be subject to the application by the preferred candidate to Ofsted for a waiver and the receipt of a waiver from Ofsted.
