Aerospace Design Engineer

We're looking for a experienced Aerospace Design Engineer to join our forward-thinking team in Haarlem, Netherlands.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and review technical solutions and compliance documentation that meet customer, regulatory, and airworthiness requirements.
• Identify technical issues and develop effective, integrated solutions.
• Use aerospace methodologies, tools, and approaches.
• Identify and minimize technical risks within assigned projects.
• Draft test plans and compliance documentation (analysis or similarity reports).
• Ensure designs are optimized for cost, manufacturability and maintenance.
• Create design definitions, including interfaces, materials, tolerances, corrosion and manufacturing requirements.

What You Bring:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience within engineering.
• Proven experience using CAD software (CATIA preferred).
• Experience of design of lightweight structures (Composites structures) is a pro.
• Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken).
