This is an exciting and rewarding time to join Child Friendly Dudley in new Advanced Social Work Practitioner roles introduced across our social work teams. The roles build on our restorative practice model by redesigning our directorate and implementing the Family Safeguarding model to focus on children first.

Advanced Practitioners will be pivotal in establishing consistently excellent social work practice. You will hold a caseload of children needing skilled help and share expertise through modelling, coaching, reflective supervision, and learning activities.

You need to demonstrate interventions in areas of poor practice, leading practice, and professional development of team members. Experience supporting others in social work or social care roles, including practice education of students or ASYE social workers, is required. You should be dynamic, driven to achieve strong outcomes, and skilled in providing support and challenge to colleagues and families to create change.
