Position Overview

We are looking for an Advanced Sales Expert to bring deep product and systems knowledge to support solution development and strategy. You will work closely with internal teams and clients to advise on positioning and market approach. Your role includes contributing to product roadmap planning, identifying new opportunities, qualifying prospects, and supporting decisions related to local specifications and pricing.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the sales of service solutions related to retail self-checkout and point-of-sale systems across various regions, market segments, and industries
  • Collaborate with regional sales teams to develop and execute go-to-market strategies and plans specifically for retail self-checkout and POS products
  • Define and communicate the value proposition for assigned retail solutions, leveraging deep understanding of customer needs and the company's offerings
  • Act as a technical sales liaison, managing escalations with product and systems software teams supporting retail checkout technologies
  • Assist in translating customer requirements into tailored retail solutions, including system configuration and pricing
  • Support the pre-sales process by coordinating resources, contributing to proposal development, and assisting with RFP responses focused on retail environments
  • Facilitate the integration and ongoing evaluation of customers' retail systems, including self-checkout and POS platforms
  • Typically engage with senior management and occasionally with executive-level decision-makers


Required Qualification:

  • At least 6-8 years of relevant experience in a Sales Expert role
  • Proven consultative sales experience involving complex solution design within retail and commercial sectors
  • Strong expertise in self-service solutions
  • Solid knowledge of software solutions related to self-service and retail IT infrastructure
  • Fluent German language skills (written and spoken) at a minimum C1 level
  • Proficient business English skills (written and spoken) at least at B2 level
  • Outstanding communication, presentation, and relationship-building abilities
  • Willingness to travel approximately 20-25% of the time
