Advanced Physiotherapist Practitioner

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioner (APP) to join our clinical team at the Practice Plus Group MSK & Spinal Service, Lincolnshire on a permanent part-time or full-time basis. We provide a specialist rapid access outpatient clinical assessment and treatment service for patients presenting with both peripheral and spinal musculoskeletal conditions. You will work closely with our experienced clinical team, including the Clinical Operations Manager, Clinical Lead, and a team of 10 Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioners. There is also the opportunity to collaborate with our Orthopaedic Consultants.
We currently operate within 7 health centres and hospitals throughout Lincolnshire and are expanding further. Our clinics are located in Lincoln, Louth, Skegness, and Boston. Depending on your hours, travel between these locations may be required; a full UK driving license and access to your own vehicle are essential, with travel expenses covered.
Main duties of the jobResponsibilities include:
- Managing a caseload of spinal and peripheral patients with varying diagnoses and complex needs, using evidence-based and patient-centred principles.
- Organising diagnostic workups and referring patients to secondary care when appropriate.
- Working with the Clinical Lead and Clinical Operations Manager to meet service targets, including supporting clinical education and audits.
- Providing expert advice to patients and healthcare professionals, including GPs and Consultants.
- Performing steroid injections as appropriate.
Applicants should be qualified HPCP physiotherapists, with peripheral joint/soft tissue injection qualifications desirable but not essential. Additional requirements include:
- Completion of MSc modules or an MSc in Physiotherapy.
- Recognised orthopaedic musculoskeletal postgraduate training.
- Full UK Driving License and access to transport.
- Experience in orthopaedic triage.
- This role can be part-time or full-time and offers flexibility, including condensed hours if needed.
- A salary up to £57,750 per annum, depending on experience.
