Are you an experienced healthcare professional with extensive experience in a Minor Injuries Unit (MIU) or Accident & Emergency (A+E) setting? We have an exciting locum opportunity available across various sites, offering competitive rates and the chance to work in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Extensive MIU or A+E Experience: Proven track record in providing high-quality care in these settings.
• Advanced History Taking and Clinical Assessment: Completed course at Level 7.
• Minor Injuries Course: Completed at Level 7 with a supporting portfolio of evidence.
• e-IRMER Certificate: Essential for this role.
• X-Ray Interpretation: Training and practical experience required.
• Wound Closure Skills: Competence in stapling, gluing, suturing with relevant training and experience.
• Plastering Skills: Competence and experience in plastering techniques.
• Fracture and Dislocation Management: Evidence of skills and competence in reducing fractures and dislocations.
• Advanced Life Support (ALS) or Immediate Life Support (ILS) Certification: BLS is not sufficient; must cover the insertion of laryngeal mask airways.
