Advanced Nurse Practitioner

Holmlands Medical Centre is seeking to employ a qualified ANP with accredited qualifications to join our friendly team

We are a practice based in Prenton Wirral providing primary care services to over 4000 patients.

Our existing clinical team includes 5 GPs and 3 Practice Nurses and Practice Pharmacist that work supporting each other along with administration team.

Preferabledays of work Monday and Thursday (negotiable) .

Main duties of the job

Your duties as an ANP would include greeting patients, taking history and conducting physical examination with independent prescribing where needed. Working safely and under practice policies and procedures.

Job responsibilities

Acting within your professional boundaries will provide care for presenting patients. From clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment and evaluation of care ensuring critical thinking in the clinical decision-making process to ensure safeand expert care. Care includes assessment and diagnostic skills for patients within the generalpractice population.

The post holder must meet the NMC requirements for advanced practice.

Person Specification Experience

• Experience of working within a nursing team desirable along with dealing with patients, clinically assessing and diagnosing, desirable
• Experience in working in primary care especially GP Practice is desirable

Qualifications

• Qualifications will be assessed via professional accreditations you hold and experience you may have in general practice and other past employment.
