We are seeking skilled and compassionate Advanced Nurses or Clinical Practitioners to join our Out of Hours (OOH) service, providing vital face-to-face patient care at various Primary Care Centres throughout Surrey. This role offers the opportunity to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays, supporting patients when they need it most, outside of regular GP hours. You will be working within a multidisciplinary team, managing urgent and acute primary care presentations. Main duties of the job- Providing high-quality face-to-face consultations and assessments at OOH Primary Care Centres
- Diagnosing, managing, and referring patients with a variety of acute health concerns
- Collaborating closely with GPs and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
- Maintaining accurate clinical records and adhering to governance and safety protocols
- Participating in continuous service improvement and clinical governance activities
- Registered Nurse or Registered Paramedic or Pharmacist
- MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice with independent prescribing qualification or Clinical Practitioner with relevant qualifications
- Experience working in primary care, urgent care, or out-of-hours clinical settings
- Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication skills with a patient-centred approach
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays as required
