Job Description

Are you looking to join a supportive, friendly and forward thinking general practice team? An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) at our GP Practice in Ledbury.

We are seeking applicants who are clinically experienced, motivated, enthusiastic, able to work autonomously and safely within the limits of their own competence and enjoy working collaboratively within a team.

Main duties of the job

The successful applicant will work closely alongside our GPs and an ANP as part of our Duty team to provide on the day high quality clinical assessment, differentiation and formulation of management plans for patients presenting with minor and potentially serious acute conditions in general practice. Assessments will be carried out either by telephone or face to face appointments in the surgery, and may include home visits.

A non medical prescribing qualification would be beneficial for this post but is not essential. We encourage life-long learning and support and supervision will be provided in house by our and GPs.

Days to work are Monday 10.00 - 18.00 and Thursday 10.00 - 18.30, with a lunch break of 30-60 minutes (unpaid, your choice of duration). These 2 days are non negotiable.

There may be the opportunity for the candidate to work on Wednesdays.
