We have restructured our Adult Social Care teams in Cambridgeshire and invite you to join our Adults Community Teams as an Adult Support Coordinator. We have a vacancy in our Cambridge and South Cambridgeshire Team, based in Cambridge.

We embrace new ways of working, allowing our social work teams to work where they need to. You'll be part of a collaborative team environment with strong working relationships with health professionals and partners to achieve better outcomes for the adults we support.

Please note that as part of the Councils ongoing Asset Review, the Fawcett House office base may change during 2026. Teams currently located at Fawcett House may be relocated to an alternative site within the County, which in most cases will be in close proximity to the current location.

While we welcome applications from individuals with right to work in the UK requiring sponsorship, this cannot be guaranteed, as there are restrictions in place under UKVI guidance. Due to these restrictions, only those with specific exemptions meet the salary requirements for sponsorship. Please note, this role is eligible for sponsorship under a Skilled Visa, however it is not eligible for sponsorship under a Health & Care visa.

What will you be doing?

You will liaise with other departments, undertake Social Care and Mental Capacity Act assessments, and plan care and support to achieve better outcomes for the adults we support.

You must have a genuine desire to support people and put the individual at the heart of everything. You need to be inquisitive and provide evidence-based, proportionate recording with a keen focus on strength-based practice.
