Job Description

Adult Social Care Debt Lawyer needed in Ilford Paying £53.57 per hr ref 1711

Full time hours on a temporarybasis

Key Responsibilities

Manage a caseload of adult social care debt recovery matters from instruction to resolution
Draft and negotiate legal documents including claim forms, pleadings, and witness statements
Provide legal advice to council departments and contribute to governance reports
Represent the authority in hearings and undertake advocacy where appropriate
Collaborate with finance and social care teams to develop recovery strategies
Support traded income work and contribute to service commercial objectives
