Location: Employment and Skills Hub, Tunstall

Grade: Level 12

Salary: £45,091 - £48,226

Hours: 37 hours per week

This advert is open to both Internal and External applicants.

We're looking for an experienced and driven education professional to lead the delivery of our post-16 learning programmes.

This senior leadership role is vital to maintaining the high standards of teaching and learning that underpin our Good-rated Ofsted status.

You'll bring a recognised post-16 teaching qualification, along with Assessor and Internal Quality Assurer (IQA) qualifications, and will have the confidence and credibility to lead across a wide range of adult skills provision.

With in-depth knowledge of the post-16 skills agenda, tailored learning, and adult education, you'll coordinate delivery across Study Programmes and adult learning pathways, ensuring compliance with Ofsted, DfE, and awarding body requirements.

You'll lead and support a team of tutors, ensuring high-quality teaching practice, consistent learner outcomes, and responsive support for individual learner needs.

Your experience will include managing services in a post-16 environment, leading Study Programmes, supporting learners with additional needs, and playing a key role in safeguarding as a qualified Designated Safeguarding Lead (Level 4).
