Adoption Social Worker - Leicester City £38 p/h Umb

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Adoption Social Worker to join our team in Leicester City. This position offers a competitive rate of £38 per hour on an Umbrella basis, and is an excellent opportunity for a qualified professional to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and families. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing and supporting adoptive families, ensuring that the adoption process is smooth and effective for all parties involved.

• Conducting thorough assessments of prospective adoptive families and children in care.
• Providing ongoing support and guidance to families throughout the adoption journey.
• Collaborating with other professionals, including health and education services, to ensure the best outcomes for children.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation.
• Participating in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in adoption practices.

• A relevant degree in Social Work and current Social Work registration.
• Experience in adoption services or child protection.
• Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with families and stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
