An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic, personable and highly organised Admissions Officer to play a pivotal role in pupil recruitment and the continued growth of a thriving independent school.
This is an excellent opportunity for a sales focused professional who is passionate about education and delivering exceptional customer service. As a key public representative of the School, you will guide families through every stage of the admissions journey - from initial enquiry to enrolment - ensuring a warm, professional and positive experience throughout.
The RoleThe Admissions Officer is central to ensuring the School operates at full capacity. You will:
- Lead and manage the full admissions process from enquiry to enrolment
- Build strong, lasting relationships with prospective families
- Deliver outstanding customer service at every interaction
- Convert enquiries into visits, applications and registrations
- Provide regular admissions updates and analysis to the Senior Leadership Team
- Play a key role in planning and delivering Open Mornings, Taster Days and other admissions events
- Work closely with academic and support teams to ensure a seamless transition for new pupils
This is a crucial post contributing directly to the School's reputation, growth and future development.

- Sales minded with an understanding of marketing principles

- Highly organised with strong time management skills
- Confident working with data and analysing statistics
- IT proficient, particularly in Microsoft Excel (experience with a School Information Management System desirable)
- Professional, calm and confident with a wide range of audiences
- Proactive, discreet and solution focused
- A genuine team player with integrity and drive
- You will also demonstrate a strong commitment to safeguarding, equality and diversity, and the welfare of children and young people.
- Flexibility is essential, as occasional evening and weekend work will be required to support school events.
