Job Description

Gladstone House Surgery is a dynamic,friendly practice offering an exciting new opportunity for an enthusiastic andhighly motivated, flexible and pro-active Admin Receptionist to join ourinnovative and progressive team.

Support and mentorship.

You will be supported by our surgeryteam and have regular training

The post is for 25hrs per week from Monday Friday shifts. Shifts can vary between early, middle and late when covering reception, however this will only happen during a/l, sickness or when reception are short staffed due to days off.

S1 Practice.

Main duties of the job

The role will involvepatient contact both F2F and on the telephone.Majority of the work will be in the upstairs admin office but receptiontraining will also be given to cover annual leave or sickness where needed.

You will work closelywith the Practices Senior Receptionist and multi-disciplinary team of otherGPs, nurses and non-clinical staff to provide a high quality and accessibleservice to patients.

At Gladstone we have atight knit team, who pride themselves on working well together, with a strongwork ethic and a team who provide mentoring and support on an on-goingbasis.

This team includes 2 GPPartners, 2 Salaried GPs, 1 x ACP, 2 Nurses and a supportive admin and cleaningteam. We are also supported by our PCNand CCG pharmacists, midwife and care co-ordinators.

We pride ourselves onbeing a patient focused practice.

We also train Yr 1& 2 medical students, along with student nurses and work experience schoolleavers.

Qualifications
  • Understanding of working effectively within multidisciplinary groups
  • Dealing with the public/patients
  • Experience of using S1 clinical system is not essential as training will be given if never used before.
