Job Description

Manor Drive Medical Centre are looking for a motivated friendly Administrator to work at our busy practice. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with prior experience to work in a fast paced and patient focussed environment.

Main duties of the job

We are looking for someone who is organised, proactive and capable of managing a wide range of administrative tasks. This will include, scanning, coding, helping with prescriptions and blood forms.

About us

Manor Drive is a very busy GP surgery, we currently have over 16,500 patients. We are part of Kingston borough and also part of New Malden and Worcester Park PCN. We are based in Worcester Park with great transport links to London. We have approximate 35 staff in a large purpose built building.

Job responsibilities

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Administrator to join our busy NHS GP surgery team on apart-time or full time basis. The ideal candidate will be organised, proactive,and capable of managing a wide range of administrative tasks to support theday-to-day operations of the practice. This is a fantastic opportunity forsomeone with prior experience in a healthcare setting who thrives in afast-paced and patient-focused environment.

Strong organisational and communication skills are essential for thisrole.

Experience
  • Experience working in a GP surgery or NHS administrative environment
  • Knowledge and experience using EMIS and Docman software
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Understanding of QOF (Quality and Outcomes Framework) and chronic disease recalls
  • Accurate and fast data entry skills with strong attention to detail
  • Professional phone manner and excellent communication skills
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and work independently as well as part of a team
  • Strong organisational and clerical skills, including typing accuracy
  • A positive, can-do attitude with a willingness to learn
  • Quick to adapt to new software and processes
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage competing priorities
  • Previous experience with clinical coding and medical report completion
