This is an exciting opportunity for an experiencedAdministrator to join the team to provide admin support and services for thepractice.

Main duties of the jobWe are looking for a motivated Administratorwho is passionate about providing high quality healthcare and tackling the rolein new and exciting ways. We want you to come and work alongside an alreadymotivated and inspiring practice team of like-minded and varied professionals.
About usWe are currently a two site practice based in a beautifulpart of West Yorkshire and the successful candidate would be working acrossboth sites. The surgery is extremely well-established, friendly, supportive andinclusive. We have a growing practice size of approximately 15,700 patientscurrently based over the two sites which are located within ten minutes of eachother. We are committed to the well-being of our patients and staff and alwayswelcome new ideas to improve patient care. We are very proud to have an excellentreputation in the local area, providing very high standards of care andcurrently rated Good by CQC. We take an active part in our PCN (Lower ValleyPCN) and the LMC with one of our GP Partners currently the Clinical Director ofour PCN and one of our team who is on the LMC board. The practice uses TPPSystmOne clinical system.
Job responsibilitiesThe post holder will be expectedto undertake all the normal duties and responsibilities associated with an Administratorworking within primary care.
Duties include but not limitedto:
Accessing, recordingand updating patients details/results
Inputting computer dataitems of medical history, prevention and therapy.
Read code informationfrom correspondence
Scanning and input ofletters, forms, results onto Systm One
Return of medicalrecords to PCSE in accordance with requirements
Maintenance of paperand electronic medical records
Monitor practicerecall/review systems for agreed quality marker. Make further appointmentsaccordingly e.g. Diabetic Eye Screening programme
Dealing and action ofrequests for access to medical records from varying sources
Liaison with involvedparties for appointment of medicals and ensuring the necessary charges areapplied
Monitor data input andreport discrepancies to Administration Lead
Liaise with other NHSagencies
To attend staffmeetings and time out events.
To participate throughthe Practices individual performance review.
To provide cover for administrationduties as and when required for holiday, sickness and other absences.
Person Specification Experience- Experience of administrative duties
- Experience of working in a healthcare setting
- Experience using Systm One
- Experience using PATCHS
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
- Clear, polite telephone manner
- Competent in the use of Office and Outlook
- Effective time management (Planning & Organising)
