We are currently recruiting for a Plates Administrator to join a busy automotive operation in Thurleigh. This is a varied administrative role supporting vehicle dispatch and collection processes within a fast paced environment.
The successful candidate will play a key part in ensuring vehicle documentation, collections, and customer communication are handled accurately and efficiently.
The Role- Carrying out general office and administrative duties
- Supporting vehicle collection and dispatch processes
- Processing vehicle related paperwork and updating internal systems
- Handling customer enquiries via phone and email
- Assisting with customer queries and resolving issues professionally
- Liaising with drivers, customers, and internal departments
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation
- Supporting the wider operational team where required
- Undertaking occasional vehicle movements when needed
- Previous administration or office experience preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and email systems
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Able to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks
- Professional and confident telephone manner
- Reliable and flexible approach to work
- Full UK Driving Licence preferred
