Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a Plates Administrator to join a busy automotive operation in Thurleigh. This is a varied administrative role supporting vehicle dispatch and collection processes within a fast paced environment.

The successful candidate will play a key part in ensuring vehicle documentation, collections, and customer communication are handled accurately and efficiently.

The Role
  • Carrying out general office and administrative duties
  • Supporting vehicle collection and dispatch processes
  • Processing vehicle related paperwork and updating internal systems
  • Handling customer enquiries via phone and email
  • Assisting with customer queries and resolving issues professionally
  • Liaising with drivers, customers, and internal departments
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation
  • Supporting the wider operational team where required
  • Undertaking occasional vehicle movements when needed
The Person
  • Previous administration or office experience preferred
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and email systems
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Able to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks
  • Professional and confident telephone manner
  • Reliable and flexible approach to work
  • Full UK Driving Licence preferred
