Project Administrator - Social Housing Retrofit & Energy Efficiency, Dartford, immediate start - play a key role in supporting the smooth delivery and compliance of large-scale housing decarbonisation programmes.

The Role

Want to be at the centre of project delivery rather than just handling routine admin? This is an opportunity to take on a varied and fast paced role where your organisation and coordination skills directly contribute to the success of retrofit and energy efficiency projects across social housing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing administrative support across multiple SHDF-funded retrofit projects
  • Maintaining accurate project documentation, compliance trackers, and records
  • Coordinating meetings, including preparing agendas and taking minutes
  • Supporting procurement processes, including raising purchase orders and liaising with contractors
  • Tracking project progress, milestones, and deadlines
  • Assisting with data collection and reporting for internal teams and external funders
  • Coordinating appointments between residents, contractors, and stakeholders
  • Ensuring all documentation is compliant with SHDF guidelines and audit requirements
Requirements
  • Experience in an administrative or project support role
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
  • Confident communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Desirable
  • Experience within social housing, construction, or retrofit projects
  • Understanding of compliance, reporting processes, or funding frameworks (e.g. SHDF)
