An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and enthusiastic Ward Clerk to join our Clinical Administration Service on Ward 15 at Castle Hill Hospital.
We are looking for enthusiastic people with previous customer service experience who can communicate at all levels, work flexibly and are able to organise and prioritise their workload. Good communication skills are essential as you will be dealing with members of the public.
We are looking to recruit:
- 1 30 hours - Thursday to Sunday 07.00-15.00
Although previous administration experience is desirable, we are first and foremost looking for individuals with a passion to work in a health care setting, a 'can do' attitude and a flexible approach to working. Excellent customer service skills are a must!
Main duties of the jobThe successful candidate will join a friendly and supportive team that values the contribution of all staff.

Person Specification Education / Qualifications- Good standard of general education to GCSE level or equivalent, including Maths and English Language.
- NVQ Level 2 in administration.
- NVQ Level 3 in administration.
- Experience of providing a service to patients or customers.
- Experience of using electronic systems.
- Experience of Microsoft Office products.
- Understanding of the clinical administration pathway.
- Knowledge of working within the General Data Protection Regulations 2018.
- Good organisational skills.
- Ability to prioritise own workload.
- Knowledge of, and adherence to, General Data Protection Regulations 2018.
- Ability to communicate effectively using a variety of media.
- Proactive and able to work on own initiative.
- Knowledge of Trust Access Policy.
- Knowledge of Referral to Treatment rules and guidelines.
- Professionalism.
- Caring.
- Accountable.
- Interested in personal development.
- Flexible approach to hours and conditions.
- Willingness to travel to other trust sites.
