CLCH Hertfordshire Adult Community Services - CLCH NHS Trust provides a range of Community Services, and the Hertfordshire Division is recruiting!
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, competent, part-time administrator to provide strong administrative support to the Community Cardiology Service.
You will be working as part of an administration team in a busy, friendly Community Service to support the clinical staff in the Cardiac Rehabilitation and Heart Failure Services. You will act as a first line of contact with the patients and other Health Professionals. You will be required to have a professional manner, good communication skills and a high level of attention to detail.

Main duties of the jobYou will need to manage your workload and set priorities each day. The role involves the use of specialized IT systems such as SystmOne for which training will be provided but a need for flexibility, accuracy and confidentiality is essential.
Other duties include general office administrative duties, dealing with telephone queries, covering for other admin staff when required and maintaining patient literature. The successful candidate will have proven computer skills including Word, Excel and Outlook.

Job responsibilitiesSuccessful applicants will be required to demonstrate alignment with the Trusts values - Accountability, Inclusion, Compassion, and Empowerment, alongside fulfilling the duties detailed in the attached Job Description and Person Specification.
Person Specification Education/Qualifications- Good literacy and numeracy, general education
- NVQ Admin Level 3 in Administration or relevant experience
- Hold a full, valid, UK driving licence and have access to a car (unless you have a disability as defined by the Equality Act 2010)
- Secretarial and administrative experience working in a health care environment
- Experience of working with the general public in a customer or client-facing role
- Experience of inputting to databases, spreadsheets and/or other IT Systems and business applications used in the office environment
- Experience of taking, producing and distributing notes or letters as directed
- An understanding of data protection in a healthcare setting
- Experience of working with patients and carers in a public sector environment
- Knowledge of stock ordering procedures
- Understanding of the need for confidentiality
- Understanding of Equal Opportunities
- Ability to create and structure office systems e.g. filing, stationery and equipment ordering
- Competent in the use of Microsoft Office (e.g. Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook )
- Accurate copy typing
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Able to use own initiative to plan and prioritise own workload to meet deadlines
- Able to provide evidence of where you have demonstrated the Trust's Values and Behaviours
