CDT Administrative Coordinator - UKRI AI Centre for Doctoral Training in AI for Digital Media Inclusion

The Surrey Institute for People-Centred AI (PAI) is seeking an exceptional CDT Administrative Coordinator to support the delivery and operations of the UKRI-funded Centre for Doctoral Training (CDT) in AI for Digital Media Inclusion. This dynamic role is central to empowering the next generation of PhD researchers who aim to build inclusive AI technologies that reflect and serve the needs of all people.

About the Role:

As CDT Administrative Coordinator, you will:

  • Play a central role in co-ordinating and delivering all operational and strategic activities across our two partner universities.
  • Work closely with a wide range of stakeholders - PhD researchers, academic colleagues, and industry collaborators.
  • Support and facilitate the smooth running of events and recruitment activities.
  • Support the delivery of CDT activities in line with equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI) principles.

  • Brings experience of administrative and coordination roles in a complex organisation.
  • Communicates with clarity, empathy and professionalism.
  • Has experience of data management and record keeping
