Modern Apprentice - Administrative Assistant

Part-time: 36hrs per week (full time equivalent). 1.0 WTE x Permanent. Band 3. Location: NHS Borders Headquarters, Borders General Hospital.

We are offering a Modern Apprentice opportunity for motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join the Planning & Performance Team within the Office of the Chief Executive.

Role Overview

As an Administrative Assistant in the Planning & Performance Team you will support the team's activities, contribute to service improvement initiatives and help shape the future of healthcare in the Borders region. You will work closely with NHS Borders colleagues and wider partners.

Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the Planning & Performance Team and its wider responsibilities.
  • Support Executives and projects, contributing to business support activities.
  • Take part in service improvement initiatives and processes that shape the future of healthcare.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across NHS Borders and wider partners.
Qualifications
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Interest in healthcare, public service or business support.
  • Commitment to developing communication, organisational, digital and teamwork skills.
  • No prior experience required.
