Job Description

This is a part time position of 18.75 hours per week (equivalent to 2.5 days).

The postholder will provide high quality, responsive, and coordinated administrative support to the Integrated 019 Service. The role is focused on ensuring the delivery of an efficient, resource conscious, and cost effective service to families, children, and young people across Leicester, Leicestershire, and Rutland.

Key responsibilities include working within established systems and processes to deliver an effective administrative function, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring all administrative tasks are completed within specified timescales. The role requires the effective use and upkeep of administrative systems, alongside a high standard of attention to detail.

The postholder must demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with the ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and external partners. A strong commitment to delivering high quality customer care is essential, whether interacting face to face, via telephone, or in written correspondence.

Main duties of the job
  • Work within SystmOne, electronic patient record system.
  • Process incoming referrals.
  • Booking of appointments and sending appointment letters.
  • Scanning of clinical correspondence.
  • Processing incoming clinical correspondence.
  • Work closely with the 0 19 clinical teams and administrative colleagues. Work with service waiting lists.
  • Clinic co ordination.
