Administrative and Clerical Receptionist - Band 2 
Within Therapies we have an opportunity for an Administrative/Clerical Receptionist to join a 20+ strong administrative team across four main therapy departments.
The post is based at Grantham District Hospital with travel to other sites in line with business need and training requirements. It is a 37.5 hour per week position.
Main duties of the job- Ensure patients receive appointments within the local and national targets set.
- Provide patients and staff with all relevant information in a timely, accurate and effective manner.
- Capture all patient data accurately and promptly.
- Deliver a customer focused booking service.
- Provide reception services to relevant areas in a professional, understanding and courteous manner.
- Follow agreed procedures and protocols.
- Support therapy services and maintain outputs across the Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy departments.
- GCSE Grade C or above in English and Maths or equivalent qualification/experience or NVQ Level 2 in a relevant subject (e.g., Customer Care, Administration) or at least working towards.
- CLAIT or European Computer Driving Licence or equivalent.
- Experience working in a customer care or office environment.
- Knowledge or experience of NHS working.
- Ability to prioritise and organise own workload.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in work produced.
- Demonstrated evidence of key values and behaviours in line with the Trust framework: Patient Centred, Respect and Excellence, Compassion, Safety.
- Awareness of and knowledge of the dignity in care agenda.
- Understanding of NHS waiting time targets.
- Experience of health records, outpatients and waiting lists.
- Understanding of booking systems and diary maintenance.
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Hold a full, clean driving licence.
