Administrative / Accounts Assistant (Part-Time)

Location: Newark
Hours: Part-time (approx. 20-25 hours per week)

Role Overview

We are looking for a reliable and organised Administrative / Accounts Assistant to support our client based in Newark. This varied role combines general admin duties with basic accounts support.

Key Responsibilities
  • General office administration (calls, emails, filing, scheduling)
  • Processing invoices and maintaining financial records
  • Assisting with accounts payable and receivable
  • Bank reconciliations and basic credit control
  • Supporting payroll and reporting as required
Requirements
  • Previous admin or accounts experience
  • Good IT skills, especially Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and organisation
  • Basic understanding of bookkeeping or accounts processes
Desirable
  • Experience with Sage, Xero, or similar software
  • AAT qualification or studying towards it
