Job Description
Administrative / Accounts Assistant (Part-Time)
Location: Newark
Hours: Part-time (approx. 20-25 hours per week)
We are looking for a reliable and organised Administrative / Accounts Assistant to support our client based in Newark. This varied role combines general admin duties with basic accounts support.
Key Responsibilities- General office administration (calls, emails, filing, scheduling)
- Processing invoices and maintaining financial records
- Assisting with accounts payable and receivable
- Bank reconciliations and basic credit control
- Supporting payroll and reporting as required
- Previous admin or accounts experience
- Good IT skills, especially Excel
- Strong attention to detail and organisation
- Basic understanding of bookkeeping or accounts processes
- Experience with Sage, Xero, or similar software
- AAT qualification or studying towards it
