Job overview

The Virtual Ward is expanding and in order for us to continue to grow, we are looking for an Admin Manager that will join our team and support the service to develop further.

We are looking for someone who has great communications skills, can support the team with administration tasks, work with and analyse data and can work flexibly within a busy environment.

Main duties of the job

You will provide administrative support to the virtual ward team and will be responsible for developing administrative systems to ensure robust monitoring of the service.

You will work as part of a wider multi-disciplinary team to ensure the effective running of the service including call handling, appointments and follow-ups, tracking of equipment and setting up meetings, etc.

This role continues to evolve as the service develops and may include a staff management element as the team expands.

  • Educated to NVQ level 4 or equivalent
  • Customer Service/Business Admin/ITQ or equivalent professional experience
Experience
  • Experience of managing staff/a busy clerical/office environment
  • Complex administrative experience
  • Prioritising, planning and organising own and others tasks
  • Experience of dealing with difficult situations and confrontations
