Job Description

A full time Administration Assistant role at Cardigan, part of the Ceredigion Community Outpatient Team.

The position involves Reception duties assisting the public in person and by telephone and supporting administrative tasks. The role is part of a job share arrangement.

Essential to travel to community sites throughout Ceredigion.

Main duties of the job
  • Reception role liaising with patients in person and over the phone.
  • Typing duties using word processing for letters and general text.
  • Filing of clinical and non clinical correspondence, scanning and photocopying.
  • Ordering office supplies.
  • Maintaining databases and providing information for reporting.
  • Booking and completing clinic appointments.
  • Managing the main outpatient front desk.
  • Adhering to Health Board Guidelines and performing additional duties as appropriate for the post.
Qualifications and Knowledge
  • Level 2 qualification (e.g. GCSEs, NVQ2) or equivalent administrative/office experience.
Experience
  • Previous clerical experience.
Other requirements
  • Flexible approach to service needs.
  • Ability to travel between sites timely.
  • Welsh speaking (Level 1) desirable.
Skills and Attributes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Team player.

Salary: £26,300 per annum (pro rata if part time).
