We are looking to appoint a motivated and enthusiastic person who has excellent organisational, administrative and interpersonal skills, and high level knowledge of Microsoft Office software, i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel, MS Teams etc.
Essential educational, skills, knowledge and experience requirements are detailed in the Job Description and Person Specification. This is a very busy role and the successful candidate will need to be able to work without direct supervision to meet challenging demands and should be able to evidence their experience of working in a similar role.

Main duties of the job- Responsible for the effective and efficient delivery of a comprehensive administrative support service across the services.
- Responsible for the supervision of Band 2 and 3 Admin Support staff
- Establish and maintain agreed systems for effective record keeping including collation and submission of timely statistics
- Provide flexible administrative and clerical cover as required. This might occasionally involve working at another base in the local area during cross cover arrangements
- Excellent interpersonal skills and able to communicate a range of complex or sensitive information effectively with staff, service users and stakeholders for example face-to-face, via telephone and email
- Exercise confidentiality; be sympathetic and sensitive to the requirements of staff, service users and stakeholders when communicating by telephone or face to face, including dealing with a difficult situation, e.g. aggressive or demanding behaviour.
- Provide effective problem solving both face to face and via telephone
- Communicate work procedures, motivating staff to achieve objectives
- Attend admin team / departmental meetings on a regular basis and contribute to building effective teamwork in exchanging views and ideas and communicating effectively.
- Good General Education (e.g., GCSE English and Maths A C)
- QCF Team Leading Level 2 / First Line Management Level 2
- QCF Business Administration Level 3
- QCF Customer Service Level 3
- Competent working with a range of Microsoft Office packages (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Access)
- Experience of working in a busy office / customer care environment
- Experience of working in a supervisory role
- Experience of using Trust IT systemsNHS Experience
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Advanced keyboard / IT skills
- Ability to manage and prioritise own and other's workload and use own initiative
- Ability to work autonomously
- Excellent organisation skills and ability to multitask
- Excellent time management skills ability to prioritise conflicting demands in order to meet deadlines
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of reception / office procedures
- Ability to take and transcribe notes of meetings in a timely manner
- Ability to establish and maintain relevant recording and information systems
- Ability to deal professionally with enquiries from staff, service users and stakeholders
- Ability to problem solve and deal professionally with complaints
- Understand confidentiality and apply the principles in everyday working practice
