Admin Officer - Feltham

Working Days / Hours: Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week
Working Pattern: Office-based
Pay Rate: £15.59 per hour
Level of Clearance Required: Basic Clearance
Length of Assignment: 6 Months
Hiring for a reputed client, this is a vital front-line administrative role that helps keep court and tribunal processes moving smoothly. You'll be part of a team that values customer service, continuous improvement, and doing things "right first time" for the public.
What you'll be doing:- Prepare papers, files and documentation for courts, tribunals, hearings and meetings
- Produce standard letters and correspondence, minutes, notes, reports and submissions in line with guidelines
- Maintain and update records on an in-house computer system, including data input
- Support post opening/dispatch, photocopying, filing and day-to-day admin operations
- Clerking civil and family courts and tribunals by ensuring paperwork is accurate, up to date and ready for hearings
- Handle counter, written and telephone enquiries with a helpful, prompt and polite approach
- Contact relevant parties, schedule activity and support listing/rota management by checking files and information
- Contribute to meetings (including TIB meetings) and help problem-solve using lean-style continuous improvement approaches
- Verify and check documents, records, accounts, claims and returns against criteria and procedures
- Assemble and interpret information to prepare for meetings and processing casework, making adjustments to ensure completion
- Produce basic statistical analysis and process straightforward financial information where needed
- Excellent administrative ability with strong attention to accuracy and quality
- Strong customer service mindset-delivering a "right first time" experience to internal and external customers
- Confident using relevant computer systems to create/update records and input data
- Ability to work to workload targets for throughput and accuracy
- A proactive approach to discretion, initiative and continuous improvement within set processes (SOPS)
- Willingness to work flexibly across the local office network when required
- You'll be allocated to a specific office base in Feltham, with occasional need to support other local offices on an ad hoc basis
- Some roles may include regular contact with court/tribunal users including members of the Judiciary and the legal profession
