Job Description
This varied role will involve actively engaging with our employees and customers to provide administration support to managers/planners responsible for the depot.
Previousexperiencein a busy transport /manufacturing operation would be beneficial but not essential;
Responsibilities- Data Input and use of computer systems
- Production of appropriate documentation
- Customer liaison by phone and Email
- Booking in deliveries with customers
- Despatch of drivers
- Dealing with driversheets, pay sheetsand queries
- Report generation and assorted administrative tasks.
- Printing of documentation/pod/manifest
- Production of reports
- Query handling
- Filing
- Daily face to face customer interaction - management & warehouse personnel
- Liaise with company service providers to ensure vehicle maintenance standards are met
- Provide updates on collections & deliveries to the client
- Undertaking any other tasks/duties as may be reasonably required
- Ability to stay calm under pressure
- Methodical and thorough approach to work, Organised
- Good at juggling tasks and prioritising
- Great team player
- Ability to work under own initiative
- Competent in standard PC suites i.e.; office, excel, outlook
- Progression training to planning role for right applicant
