Volunteer Role: Community Engagement Support

Schedule and Location

• Days: Monday, Friday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday
• Frequency: Ongoing, twice a month
• Location: BS5
• Hours: 70+ hours

Role Description

Assist an individual with activities such as crafting, baking, pottery, visiting cafes, attending beauty appointments, and going to the cinema. The individual is very independent and wishes to connect with someone sharing similar interests to access the community.

Volunteer Requirements

• Role Frequency: Fortnightly, flexible on weekdays or weekends during the day
• Expenses: Travel expenses covered; activity expenses to be discussed
• Checks and Training: DBS check, two references, online volunteer training
• Support: Ongoing support from the volunteer team and a designated staff member
