Location: Henry Cornish Care Centre, Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire

Pay Rate: £14.18 per hour (weekend enhancements available)

Contracted Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Shift Pattern: 9:00 am - 5:00 pm (working alternate weekends)

About the Role

Our homes are vibrant, joyful communities. An important part of creating a happy atmosphere is a wide range of stimulating activities and entertainment for residents. As an Activities Coordinator, you'll create and deliver an ongoing programme of activities and events that engage residents, promote independence and are tailored to individual needs.

Many residents have age related conditions but still aim to live a full and active life. You will learn what they love to do and help create new memories with them.

You'll work alongside other team members who are passionate about providing care, warmth, and kindness to all residents and staff.

About You

You have experience creating, organising, and delivering events and activities, or experience working with elderly people in a residential setting. You are confident in engaging residents to understand their interests both as a group and one to one.

You are comfortable engaging with the local community, inviting external guests to enhance the activities programme, and encouraging team members, relatives, and friends to participate.
