Activities Assistant - Care Home

About the Role

As an Activities Assistant at a Barchester care home, you'll deliver imaginative, fun and varied activities to ensure our residents can enjoy an environment that is motivational and fulfilling. You will help us to deliver an entertainment and activities programme covering a wide range of pastimes, social activities, outings and events. Put simply, you will help every resident live as independently as possible and enhance their involvement with family, friends and the local community.

About You

You don't need any specific experience to join us as an Activities Assistant, so you could come from any background. What is important is that you have a sense of fun, creativity, and the ability to encourage and motivate others. You will also need to have a genuine interest in the people we support. Enthusiastic and empathetic, you'll enjoy helping our residents live their lives to the fullest. You will have opportunities to develop your skills further with a range of courses designed to build your confidence in every aspect of your role.
