About the role

As a Bank Activities Coordinator at a Barchester care home, this casual, part-time role offers flexible working. You'll help create a stimulating environment that enables us to deliver exceptional all-round care and support for our residents. Our ethos is about celebrating life, so you'll help devise imaginative, fun and motivational activities that suit every interest and ability. An extremely rewarding role, you'll spend time getting to know residents and their families before you create tailored activities programmes focused on maximising wellbeing, independence and social engagement.

About you

You'll need to be warm, empathetic and personable. Your organisational skills and driven mind-set mean you always get things done. Your infectious enthusiasm and creative approach will inspire residents and staff to get involved in activities both within the home and in the local community. Any similar experience would be ideal, but it isn't essential - especially because we'll make sure you have the training you need to develop your skills and progress your career with us.
