Accounts Senior

A well-regarded and growing accountancy practice based in Malton is currently recruiting for an Accounts Senior to join their team on a permanent basis. • Preparing and reviewing statutory and management accounts for a varied portfolio of clients
• Producing VAT returns and assisting with bookkeeping tasks when required
• Acting as a key point of contact for clients, offering advice and resolving queries
• Supporting and mentoring junior colleagues
• Collaborating with other departments to ensure a seamless client experience
• Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and accounting standards

• ACA/ACCA qualified or qualified by experience in a practice environment
• Comfortable managing a portfolio of clients including limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships
• Familiar with cloud-based software such as Xero, Sage, or QuickBooks
• A proactive and organised individual with excellent communication skills
• Able to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines effectively
