Clark Wood, specialists in Accountancy Practice recruitment, are excited to partner with a well-regarded firm of chartered accountants located on the outskirts of Newport. This progressive firm is actively seeking an experienced Accounts Senior / Senior Accountant to join their expanding team.

Role Overview

As an Accounts Senior, you will play a vital role in the firm, primarily focusing on year-end accounts production and corporation tax compliance. Your key responsibilities will include:

Liaising directly with clients to understand their needs and deliver exceptional service.

Supporting and mentoring junior staff members in their professional development.

Preparing and reviewing statutory and management accounts to ensure accuracy.

Handling corporation tax computations and returns efficiently.

Qualifications and Skills

ACA / ACCA Qualified or Finalist (AAT Qualified or QBE candidates will also be considered).

Essential experience in a general practice role is required.

Up-to-date knowledge of relevant accounting standards and tax regulations.
