Accounts Manager

About the Role

Our Client is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Accounts Manager to join a fast-paced friendly family run business in Leeds. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is AAT Level 3 qualified (or equivalent) and looking to develop their career within a supportive and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Processing purchase and sales invoices accurately and efficiently
• Managing supplier statements and reconciling accounts
• Assisting with bank reconciliations and month-end procedures
• Preparing and posting journals
• Supporting credit control and accounts payable functions
• Maintaining accurate financial records and spreadsheets
• Assisting the Finance Manager with ad-hoc finance tasks and reporting
• Working multi-currency and experienced in Dollars / Pounds and Euros
• Experienced in Exports

About You

• AAT Level 3 qualified (or actively studying)
• Use of SAGE
• Previous experience in an accounts or finance assistant role
• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Good working knowledge of Excel and accounting software
• Well organised with the ability to meet deadlines
• A positive, team-oriented attitude with good communication skills
