Accounts Assistant- Newtownards- Maternity Contract

Reed Recruitment is delighted to be working with a highly established and successful organisation with offices based in Newtownards. Our client has a vacancy for an experienced Bookkeeper to join their team to cover a period of maternity.

This role is offering an immediate start and will be a fixed term contract for a period of 12 months.

The successful applicant will be offered the opportunity to work within a friendly and support Finance Function, and will assist the Finance Director with the following duties:

  • Matching Invoices/Checking statements
  • Posting supplier invoices to Sage
  • Monthly payment runs
  • Submitting monthly reports to HMRC (CIS & Intrastat)
  • Credit Control
  • Posting Journals
  • Bank Reconciliations
  • Answering phone calls
  • Opening post
  • Raising customer & supplier orders
  • Ad Hoc office duties as required
