We are partnering with a highly regarded organisation based in Doncaster to recruit a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a strong interest in finance to join a well-established team. - Process incoming and outgoing invoices and credit notes with accuracy and efficiency
- Liaise with suppliers to resolve queries in a timely and professional manner
- Reconcile customer and supplier statements to ensure financial records are up-to-date
- Coordinate both scheduled and ad hoc payment runs
- Monitor and reconcile bank transactions to maintain accurate cash flow records
- Manage petty cash, company credit card usage, and overall cash flow oversight
- Assist with payroll by compiling and verifying employee working hours
- Process staff expense claims in line with company policy
- Contribute to the preparation of monthly financial reports and analysis
- Provide support across a range of finance tasks as required by the department
- Solid experience with SAP and Excel
- Studying or completing AAT qualification (desirable, not essential)
- Great communication skills - you'll be speaking with people across business
- A proactive attitude and willingness to get stuck in
- Confidence working alongside the Finance Manager and wider team
- A salary of up to £28,000, depending on experience
- A permanent, full-time role - you'll be in the office Monday to Friday later start and earlier finish on a Friday!
